Vladimir Safronov (presenter) – Hello! Today we are making examination of automobile tyre air compressors. Our reporter Svetlana Diordieva tells about the tests.

Svetlana Diordieva (reporter) – Five electric air compressors work at full stretch. The task is to inflate a loose tyre R13 up to 2 atmospheres as fast as possible.
Air compressor "Air Man" appears to be the slowest. The gauge pointer reaches the required mark in 5 min 14 sec only. The Investigators note some other drawbacks, like small graduation marks which make rating pressure in the tyre rather difficult. Furthermore, the hose of this air compressor has a fragile plastic connecting pipe.

Mikhail Konstantinov (Head of Automobile Maintenance Center) – The Latch can be broken when locked at a low temperature which will lead to malfunction of the whole unit.

Svetlana Diordieva – Air compressor "Bort" is not fast either. Its result is 5 min 7 sec.

Mikhail Konstantinov – It has low inflation rate, high noise level and big vibration. The casing of the air compressor practically jumps on the test surface when at work.

Svetlana Diordieva – Air compressor "Interdynamics" inflates the tyre slightly faster – its result is 4 min 33 sec. The Investigator is disappointed with its gauge scale. It is graded up to whole 16 atmospheres, so its precision will be rather low. Besides, this air compressor is very noisy and its hose is supplied with unreliable plastic connecting pipe.
Air compressor "Focus" fulfills the task for 2 min 36 sec without substantial noise and dust.
The winner of the comparison tests is air compressor "Berkut".

Mikhail Konstantinov – It has a quite long convenient connecting hose. The reliable connecting pipe is designed in the form of revolving fitting which allows to reliably fix the hose on the wheel.

Svetlana Diordieva – Moreover, air compressor "Berkut" makes almost no noise and does not jump when at work.
